Your winning design can establish your portfolio and professional career while providing you with both financial and personal reward of a creative job well done. TWO WINNING DESIGNS, one for the cover of the Student Handbook now published through the Student Government exceeding 20,000 copies, and an orientation notebook at 10,000 copies which will be disbursed to first year students at orientation. You will be awarded through an online evote, between April 3rd to 5th with an announced winner no later than April 8th. Each winning design will receive a $500 prize, a sample of the publication and a letter of recognition from the Student Government and/or the Dean of Students. What the Handbook Cover Artwork Should Say About Seneca
Artwork created for the cover of the Seneca Student Handbook should express the College's key message: Seneca prepares students for success through career education. Past covers have featured themes such as learning, growth, connections, technology.

Evaluation Criteria
All submitted artwork will be evaluated on the following criteria:
Success in communicating the College's key message - 50%
Design - 25%
Brand fit - 15%
Meets technical requirements - 10%

1. 'Seneca' should be indicated on the cover but final Wordmark will be place by Marketing.

_____ 2. Corporate Colour - bright red (PMS 485)

_____ 3. Allocated space for text on cover of either/or 'Seneca Student Handbook' or 'Student Services Notebook', plus the year 2013/2014.

_____ 4. Colours: Full-colour (4/4 no Pantones)

_____ 5. Final Artwork Delivery: Size-as, high resolution (300dpi) PDF and eps, tiff or jpeg

_____ 6. Seneca reserves the right to refuse artwork that does not meet the above requirements or support the College’s image and profile in the marketplace.
